I have decided that I will be retiring Chico from international competition. Chico is a large imposing male, Canadian Champion in 2025 and probably one of the most famous German shepherds on social media. Chico has intense protection work and strong obedience. In life he is stable, loves hiking, dock diving and just hanging out. In the work he is an absolute unit with a gigantic helping of the WOW factor.
I have decided to focus in 2027 on some puppies and it would not be fair for this dog to not be the centre of attention. Chico is available to a good home.
Normally, a dog of this calibre, training and accomplishment would be $100,000 plus but due to his age and my goal to place him in the right home we are only asking $5000. Knowing the bloodline he should be healthy and active well into his 12th year
Chico can still compete in dog sport, or he can hang out on your property and be an amazing protection dog and hiking buddy.
Chico will NOT live with any other dogs. He is safe around kids, and does not care about strange dogs in public however he does not like interacting or socializing with other dogs.
