Vom Shield German Shepherds produces healthy, stable dogs with strong working temperaments. We decided to start our program because there is a severe lack of quality working German Shepherds available in North America.
We have been importing, training and selling dogs for the last decade. However, over the years we noticed the quality of dogs decreasing even in Europe. As such, we decided it was time for us to make our own dogs.
Contrary to popular belief great dogs are born, not raised. Genetics matter and no amount of nurture or training can compete with quality genetics. We have QUALITY genes in our program.
Our goal is to produce the best genetic product in terms of health and working traits.
Our breeding stock is hand picked by us, from German, Czech and Slovak working line dogs that have been bred for numerous generations for police and military applications.
We import, raise and train our dogs for personal protection, dog sport and law enforcement.
We believe we have some of the best dogs available in North America and are extremely proud of our program.
We are not breeding for the masses, we are breeding for true connoisseurs of the working German Shepherd dog.
Our breeding facility is located in Puslinch, Ontario Canada. Our puppies are whelped here and fully evaluated by our team for suitability as family dogs or entry into one of our working programs.
